About Us

Hi, we’re Kerri and Matt.

Our journey with Meadowood began in 2022 when we were looking for the perfect venue for our own wedding. It was the first place we visited, and it immediately captured our hearts. We knew straight away it was where we wanted to get married.

Coming from a sheep and beef farming background here in Hawke’s Bay, we were excited when the opportunity came up to take on Meadowood. It felt like a chance to try something new, while still being connected to the land and lifestyle we know.

We tied the knot at Meadowood in September 2024, so we’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to celebrate here as a couple.

Our vision for Meadowood is to preserve its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere while continuing to enhance what makes it special. We take a hands on but easy approach, working closely with couples to help them create a day that feels like them, while giving them the freedom to shape it their own way.
